ControlPoint is a Division of Access Intelligence Plc and is one of the most innovative and well respected incident management systems on the market. Originally developed by Solcara in 2005 the system saw a number of high profile and successful live deployments which proved its effectiveness and led to greatly increased demand. Set up as a separate division in 2009 the system has benefited from additional development and new modules and is now seen as the “weapon of choice” for Crisis Managers, HSE Directors and Operations Teams around the world.

ControlPoint makes use of cutting edge cloud computing where appropriate, but has the flexibility to fit in with stringent internal security firewalls and hosting structures. We understand that a system of this nature needs to offer reassurance and will not be deployed in a way that causes additional anxiety about data protection.

The Management Team:

  Michael Jackson, Chairman

  Michael is a former chairman of FTSE 100 companies PartyGaming plc and The Sage Group Plc. At Sage he was a board director for 23 years and Chairman for 12 years during which time Sage Group rose from a market cap of less than £3m to its current valuation of over £3bn.He is a prominent venture capitalist and has been Chairman of Elderstreet Investments a leading private equity investor in the technology sector.

  He runs 3 miles every day and has a degree in Law from Cambridge.

  Charles Lass, CEO

  Charles is a well respected technology entrepreneur with experience of growing software and e-commerce companies from start-up to exit. He was Co-Founder of ViaPost and joined ControlPoint soon after the company was sold in 2009. He understands both the technology and commercial potential of web applications and is extremely hands-on.

  He holds a skydiving record and can speak Mandarin.

  Robin Murray, Head of Development:

  Robin has over 25 years of experience in the development and deployment of high-security systems and was the original architect of ControlPoint in 2005. He has been involved with the strategy and roll-out of the system since its inception and has intricate knowledge of every facet of the software.

  He plays darts every week and is a force to be reckoned with.
